Caroline Baum over at Bloomberg explores what Milton Friedman would say about the current financial crisis as it relates to capitalism. I believe it generally makes the same point as I made in my last post, but managed to avoid the word "socialism". The point that the federal government and the Federal Reserve failed to wisely manage the banking system is consistent with my post, though.
